Salvador J. Vazquez Villa holds a law degree and a master's degree in Law from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, and a master's degree in Transparency and Anti-Corruption from the Universidad Virtual del Estado de Michoacán.
In the Government of the State of Michoacán he served as Officer in Charge of the Office of the Secretary of Government, Undersecretary of Internal Affairs, Undersecretary of Human Rights and Population, and Director of Internal Affairs.
